Responsibilities:
As customers' insurance advisor, you'll be calling on prospective clients and generating new sales leads while also managing new and existing customer accounts. However, you will also have the opportunity to participate in several other exciting business activities including:
o Utilizing proven marketing systems, or those you may develop, to reach potential customers for our Insurance products
o Providing excellent customer service to policyholders
o Attending networking & sales events, trade shows & community events
o Educating and assisting customers
o Creating your own daily schedule, emailing and corresponding with customers
o Obtaining insurance licenses(s) and staying aware of evolving industry and product changes
Requirements:
A college degree is preferred and equivalent work experience will be credited. The ideal candidate will also have:
o Sales and/or customer service experience
o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
o Entrepreneurial spirit with a fearless and positive attitude
o Self-motivation and goal-orientation
o Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
o Desire to continually learn new products and services
o Desire to be active in the community
o Basic computer skills
o Good credit history with no bankruptcies within the last 12 months.
o A favorable criminal record no felonies
