D Project Coordinator.
Individuals in this position will provide Peer Support for individuals with needs in recovery support.
Qualifications/Knowledge:
Demonstrated commitment to the recovery community.
Understanding of Harm Reduction practices.
Functions as a role model to peers.
Possess basic computer knowledge, organizational and operational skills.
Written and communication skills required.
Serve as an advocate, provide supportive peer services within outreach settings.
Work within a Team Approach.
Duties:
Assists in scheduled meetings or events within surrounding community.
Knowledge of HIPAA, and confidentiality regulations Maintains Professionalism with self, and others.
Management of client information.
Attendance of staff meetings and required training conferences.
Work will be performed in a wide range of settings:
including community-based settings, other agencies, video conferencing and/or social media.
Provide other duties as assigned for successful delivery of services.
Present an accepting and comfortable atmosphere for all individuals seeking services.
Other:
Must be able to maintain a non-judgmental mindset.
21 Years of age or older with High School/GED minimum Education Requirement Must have a valid driver's license if driving clients.
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Acknowledge and maintain a sober lifestyle preferred.
Submit to a background check and drug test if hired.
Some nights and weekends are required.
Interest in gaining CPSW.
Other duties as required.
