Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Emergency Room Nurse to join our healthcare team in Santa Fe, NM.
As a Travel ER Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients in the emergency department, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring critical care needs are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for Emergency Room Nurses seeking a travel position in a well-established healthcare facility with a focus on delivering high-quality emergency care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patients' conditions and provide immediate medical interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving measures when necessary.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse.
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications.
- Proficiency in emergency nursing skills and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare settings.
